Natty Narwhal

April, 28th 2011 10:10 AM. Today the Natty is launching, but again because of the timezone matter, I must waited for a few hours latter today.


April, 28th 2011 12:30 PM. Still no words or news about the coming of Natty, this keeps me has to waited a little longer.


April, 28th 2011 02:35 PM. Well, a couple of blogs and linux tech news network such as omgubuntu, already gave some news and words about the coming of Natty but the official website still hasn't come up with changes of its version.


April, 28th 2011 05:17 PM. The words that I waiting for finally comes up to the surface. The Natty Narwhal is coming. Every linux headline and news network tweet account is flooding with news of Natty Narwhal launching, also with hashtag of ubuntu and natty or nattynarwhal.


April, 28th 2011 05:28 PM. I checked it out directly from the ubuntu official website ubuntu.com and it does already launch, it does changes the layout design and visual. First thing I noticed, that the desktop and netbook choice is gone. The Natty comes with lightweight ubuntu version that ready to use in every environment, I wonder if this Natty could be installed in Tablet? Next changes, the Natty headline picture is pre-installed Dell laptop computer with Natty in it. Pretty descent I think, and its gave me trembling feeling to download it and use it.

April, 29th 2011 10:17 AM. It's time to installed the Natty.


April, 29th 2011 02:56 PM. Installation complete, but my office PC can't running unity, so I give it up to GNOME environment.


April, 30th 2011 02:34 PM. After a few updates and installing restricted areas and drivers, at last I can run the Unity Desktop Environment, so we're gonna find out what's with this new environment on Ubuntu Natty Narwhal and you can choose to use Ubuntu Gnome Classic DE if you want to. Just choosing those on login screen.
